The tactics need to be less sophisticated and more Millwall. Less fannying around and get the ball into the box. You've got Kane and Bellingham, 2 of the best in the world and getting on the end of crosses. Throw in Rice and even OReilly arriving and it's our best chance. Rashford cutting inside onto his right foot to be immediately met with FOUR defenders to block his 'shot' is not working.
As the Ghana game showed it is extremely difficult to break them down through the middle with 11 men camped so deep behind the ball.

Which better players? Palmer and Foden are off-form and past managers have been criticised for doing just that, selecting off-form players just because of their past endeavours.
