He was decent when he came on last night. I quite like him in this deeper central midfielder role picking the ball up off the centre backs. Lovely pass through to Rogers who was brought down racing through.
Last night was better than Ghana. England moved it quicker but our wide players had no end product at all. Gordon, Madueke, Rashford, and Saka, have all now had the opportunity to impress and none of them have taken that chance. You have to hope Saka comes good with more and more minutes as he gets up to speed. Not sure what you do on the left.
Rogers struggled yesterday. The invisible man. Heโs not in form - Bellingham is - and he doesnโt seem to have or know his role in the team.
The big issue is the centre halves. I thought Guehi and Konsa were terrible. They played so far apart. Gaping hole between them. And when one was dragged short, the other was miles away rather than playing narrow and covering in behind in case their colleague got beaten. Definitely want Jon Stones back there.
Full back also an issue. Djed Spence sometimes looks class and sometimes looks non-league. Last night was all the latter. Everything he did for the first 10 mins was bad. The defence for the last 20 mins looked like the sort you see finishing 17th in the Prem. [Post edited 28 Jun 8:29]

The only time Kane got service is when Bellingham put in a left footed cross from the left wing. None of the pundits picked it up but our massive issue is that we play inverted wingers and everyone knows what they will do and that they will come inside. It has to change or we are coming home sooner than later. |  |
