No better than under Southgate. Slow, sideways and backwards and playing players out of position because the manager didnโt pick the right squad. I bet TAA is laughing at the moment, ending with Rice and right back. So when Liveramento pulled out what was the point in picking Chalabah? The guy has been nowhere the team. Apart from Kane we really do have very little. Donโt fancy our chances against Mexico at all. Wonโt bother to stay up for that. |

Harry Kane is a real saviour and the best centre forward in the modern game. We are a bit of a mess defensively and it will be our undoing, going to be a real slog in the Azteca. In a strange way starting as underdogs in that environment may work in our favour, but a fully pumped up Mexico with 90,000 Mexican fans could be a little too much for our boys, but you never know. |  | | |

I'm going to be slightly negative and mention that the Azteca is at high altitude.
England are going there with not much time to acclimatise, which could be a problem.
Even if we get through it could take a lot out of the players and there's only a few days to prepare for the semis.
