Ryan Koli 17:44 - Jan 1 with 5194 views | Jimthehip | One positive today was young Ryan. Brilliant cross but the lad looks like he has a real good touch on him, composure and can dribble. He drew a couple a fouls and looked really promising I felt. Did he get injured though? he drew a foul right before he was replaced but didn't t look hurt by it?
Ryan Koli on 17:45 - Jan 1 with 4584 views | BrianMcCarthy | Yes, injured. At the end of the game he was on the pitch and he had KT tape all over his upper right leg.

he had a couple of touches that oozed class I felt and he's quick and strong for an 18 year old!
Ryan Koli on 17:51 - Jan 1 with 4511 views | ParkRoyalR | Kolli showed how to play an early ball and not let defences re-set today, superb assist, altho conversely we also sorely missed Chair's showing for the ball and giving us possession in the final third.

Looked to be limping after the game but yes probably the one candidate for MOTM and a vague hope he’ll be part of the 2024/25 L1 renaissance.
Ryan Koli on 18:03 - Jan 1 with 4362 views | Burnleyhoop | Been saying for ages that he has more about him than Dykes or Armstrong. Strong, determined, good in the air and as today shows, instinctive with the ball, something that our other two strikers do not possess. Hopefully gets a start if and when fit.
Ryan Koli on 18:40 - Jan 1 with 4176 views | Hastings_Hoops | We also now appear to have a player that can cross the ball without hitting the first man!
Ryan Koli on 18:44 - Jan 1 with 4131 views | flynnbo | The easy option was to pass back to the centre half but he showed positivity by curling that cross in. It had pace and direction and that’s what forwards thrive on-well, most forwards! | | | | Login to get fewer ads
Ryan Koli on 18:47 - Jan 1 with 4071 views | Hoopstar | He also won more headers in 35 minutes than our international target man did all game it felt like to me, given he makes Chair look tall he really competed for them. Looks a real prospect and hope he keeps on developing with us.

Looks like Dykes won 8 and Kolli won 2. But Kolli is decent in the air alright, we've seen it before.

Ryan Koli on 20:08 - Jan 1 with 3722 views | Boston | I like him - a lot. He has a style that I've always appreciated. Unfortunately, he got flat footed for their second, but that's not the area of the field where he should be making his mark. Oh, btw original poster, I'm under the impression his name is Rayan Kolli. He looks absolutely great. We need to play him more

Ryan Koli on 20:35 - Jan 1 with 3551 views | Petros | I thought another glimmer of hope was EDB, who was hungry for the ball, looked to go forward , and showed good technique. The polar opposite of Dozzell.

Ryan Koli on 22:23 - Jan 1 with 3281 views | davman | Should be at a L2 club on loan developing, but the mismanagement of our club means that he has to learn his trade in a struggling team getting time minute by minute with the growing weight of expectation of the fanbase, who will probably start slagging him off after a few dodgy games. The club has not done right by him in any way - negligence.

Why would we loan him out when we need him and also the expectation level is our own fault, not the clubs. We should not be groaning and moaning at our players constantly. Perhaps when we are relegated and down we can but until then we need to support and boost the confidence of the squad

He never did anything except run around when he has come on up front, but today he looked to be playing in his natural position attacking midfield where I've seen him do well in clips from Development games, and he was a lot better in that short run out.

Hard to tell when you've got five foot hair.
| |
Ryan Koli on 07:37 - Jan 2 with 2726 views | Hoopstar | Apparently he's 4cm taller than Chair according to the internet, but it is unclear if that includes the hair-do. Chair always seems slightly bigger than he is to me because of his all action style. Fair enough on Dykes winning 8 headers to Kolli's 2 - it just felt like Kolli put in about four times as much effort as Dykes did in the first half, Kolli having a go did seem to galvanise us for a bit. Excited by him in any case.
