Spent five minutes confused trying to figure out where it was. Went onto Sky Sports Football, nothing there. Turned to Main Event assuming it's been put on there, still nothing. For me it's the biggest game of the day!

Sky Sports Football showing a WSL game that's already on Sky Showcase. Sky Sports + showing WSL multiview. Crazy.

Although saying that, I may potentially end up watching 180 minutes of Southampton vs Portsmouth this season and not see one goal scored. Already been through that enough this week, I'm hoping the second half brings me something

Not justifying it at all but I guess it’s in the slot it is due to the police rather than Sky. No reason whatsoever one of the various Sky channels couldn’t be used for this with proper commentators in the ground, analysis and all that. It’ll probably be some nonsense that they’ve contractually agreed not to show a men’s game alongside certain WSL slots.

You can see why people use firesticks. Mind you, having sat through the first half maybe they knew what they were doing after all. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Brilliant support from Wednesday yesterday. 2,000-ish travelled despite behind 34 points off 23rd, and were loud throughout, mainly singing Barry Bannan songs. He got an ovation from all four sides of the ground when he was subbed.

I was really disappointed that many of our fans told him was a wnkr a few weeks ago.

I think Bannan often is a wnkr when he plays for the opposition, but he is one of those players that you would love to have in your own team.

Yes 100% should be. But as it’s us next, I reckon he’ll start his suspension after he plays us.

You are right but Coventry haven't won any of their last 6 away games. Time for our benevolent charity to help them out. Norwich only 7 points behind us now so my Canary friend's prediction they will finish above us looks on.

| Rest of the Championship thread 25/26 on 23:10 - Jan 26 with 1593 views | CopenhagenRs | Norwich really look like they’ve woken up and are playing with a lot of confidence right now. Their physical condition also looks strong – they were able to keep pressing and stressing Coventry for the full 90 minutes. Coventry on the other hand, seem to be going through a bad spell. Their defence in particular looked shaky. It actually looked like Norwich had a clear plan: put a lot of pressure on Grimes, force him to play the ball back to the centre-backs, who don’t look very comfortable on the ball and struggle to progress play up the pitch. On top of that, Norwich were very good at using the wide areas for counter-attacks. I really hope Julien noticed what happens to Coventry when Grimes is pressed aggressively. I’m just not entirely sure who can execute that role for us on Saturday – maybe Field? Either way, this doesn’t seem like the worst possible time for us to be facing Coventry. They looked frustrated. | | | |
| Rest of the Championship thread 25/26 on 01:46 - Jan 27 with 1485 views | derbyhoop | Harry Amass who was on loan from Man U to Sheff Wed has joined Norwich on loan. I thought he looked decent against us. Owls losing Bannan and Amass could mean their points total will remain negative all season. | |

True. However, they're probably thinking there's no better team to be playing next either!
