Ridic subs - Dembele on, then the others far too late. Can't warm to this Manager/Coach whatever. Relegation battle is real, late summer, happy play off vibes in the kharzi... I hate my Club.

Morrison, Mbengue and Dunne all way off it at the moment. RND the only one who looked serviceable and that was only because he offers something going forward. What I'd give for a proper right back and Ronnie Edwards in this team now

Square pegs in round holes. We've got the full set at the moment. On Saturday if Field plays LB, which I suspect, when was the last time we played three different LBs in three consecutive games? Is JS the 'Tinkerman'?

We are actually useless, from the Manager right through to the players. They need a right good kicking the lot of them, we have half decent players who are playing below their standards. I've completely lost faith In this Manager, completely. So fcking shoot me for the Manager comment.

Varane seems reluctant to pass forward or is incapable of doing so. Madsen though playing better doesn’t do enough still. Extremely poor first half - poor defending for both goals even allowing for the finish for the second goal. Playing out from back far too much putting extra pressure on Nardi that he doesn’t need. Oh to have had Ronnie Edwards today - May not be the complete answer but he would have made a big difference. [Post edited 5 Nov 21:58]

Good question. Better ask the ones who have presided over this club for longer than I care to remember. I don't give a feck if they are bank-rolling the club...as there soon won't be a football club worthy of the name. Incompetence beyond belief. Not going to change either no matter who is in the dug out or on the pitch.

Maybe he's not being allowed to do enough? For example since Chair returned he's taking all the the corners and offensive FKs. When he was injured that job fell to Madsen who was at least as good, maybe even better. Wouldn't it make more sense to split those tasks to make them less predictable?

Yes, Stephan is another dud. We need a Nathan Jones type. The last time we had any success was under Warnock. I'm watching that tonight and I haven't got a clue what our game plan is. Morgan did more in five minutes than the rest of then all match.

Not me. Another continental coach I couldn't pick out in a photo line - up. Not surprised at all he has been found out. Need people who understand this bastard league...and English football in general.

Spot on. Madsen is miles better than Chair at set pieces and we have regressed since it changed. How many corners and free kicks were wasted today? And Varane should be nowhere near this team for home matches: really poor at passing forward. RND my man of the match again: absolutely ended the argument about whether the Brazilian lad should be playing or not.

| They Couldn't Wait Until Wednesday 10pm To Sack Him - QPR Vs Southampton Thread on 22:12 - Nov 5 with 1192 views | bosh67 | I really thought we had turned a corner. Let's face it, he picked the team most of us asked for. I'm struggling to understand how we can go from being a very competent, solid looking, attacking side after a few initial howler games and then, after an international break, completely fall apart all over again. That's now something like 2 wins at home in 11? How is it possible to be this much of a Jekyll and Hyde side? It doesn't seem to matter what players we have and what manager/coach we have. It is always the same. Absolutely no 'boring' grind it out consistency. Stephan, if you look at his history, has a very similar cycle of winning and losing cycles to Marti. I mentioned it when he came in jest. Win 6 or 8 then lose 6-8 and repeat. I commented that he was a bit of a like for like in his winning and losing run history. I hope we somehow get something out of Saturday because what looked like being a relatively anxiety free mid table season now looks a lot more difficult if they just keep losing. And just to repeat, he pretty much picked the starting 11 we all wanted! | |
