A) Bids in the summer seemed to be around the £5m mark, so this bid isn't that different, at least according to FLW, The72 etc.

I went from being pleased to sign Varane, to "what have we done?" after seeing him play. Then back to "he could be some player" at the end of last season.
This season, I think he has been unhappy that he wasn't transferred in the summer & his performances have reflected that. My surprise is that the rumoured offer is as high as that quoted. | | | |

Yeah we bought him for £850K
Frankly he’s hit a wall this season. He simply cannot move the ball forward quickly and decisively in transitions and turn overs. It turns promising openings into nothing.
Huge limitation in his game.
Anything from £3 million up we should take. |  |
