Just thinking about tomorrow. The 2 strikers is not really working with Burrell out. Plus with only 2 CM's we are extremely vulnerable to being flooded in midfield when we lose the ball. I think it is time for 3 CM's in the shape of Varane, Morgan and Vale. Smyth and Saito wide and Kone up front.
Right back, I prefer to see Mbengue. I think he is marginally better against a winger than Ronnie and he also goes on good runs. |
Now JCS is putting in an appearance, alongside Jimmy, how about handsome Ron in the midfield and Mbengue at right back?

Thought this for a few seconds but then although we did exactly this against Hull a few weeks away that required 2 things; Hull to play really quite badly and us to play really quite well.
So, as I just can't see Brough playing badly, quite the opposite in fact and I can't see us handling then, let alone playing on the front foot, chasing down and being creative enough, whilst I don't think/hope it will be a tonking, I feel an easy win for Brough.
My main ask is that we come out with playing on the front foot and with a lot of energy and generally looking up for it with a clear game plan and structure.
Let's face it Brough could beat us if they just played their midfield.
