Ok…so obviously caveat the following, with “what do I know ? JS has forgotten more about football that I could ever know and the match hasn’t even started yet “.
Just a gut feeling but, No pace . No out ball . As slow as rust . Injuries don’t mean we can’t look to counter with Smyth for example . He’s been poor but he is quick and at least might give them something to think about.
Not really about who is in the starting line up though.
It was about how we lined up as we need 3 in midfield. It looks like we haven’t done that and their midfield will rip us open . Also Varane and Hayden will be painful with the ball.
Hope I’m wrong .
