this has been coming for weeks listen to the press conferences and his mood has changed to exactly the same as martis had during the same period , im not a huge fan of stephan to be brutally honest his football and tactics are poor and players have gone backwards under him thats for sure

Remarkable how similar this season has played out to the last one under Cifuentes. 1) Poor start under the game model with the players not fully fit for the start of the season 2) go pragmatic and to what the head coach knows 3) uptick in form 4) flirt with the play offs 5) injuries bite hard 6) results and form drops off 7) revert to playing out for the back and giving the young back ups signed by the leadership a go 8) Finish weakly and end up middle of the bottom half. 9) PR campaign against the Head Coach so you can get rid of him…??? We shall see.
Wonderful. Having spent another £15m this season too. Same again next season with Head Coach Regen in charge??
How long is it going to take for some fans to work out who and what the problems are at the club currently? It is staring you in the face.
To develop players and sell them for money (right strategy) you need: A) to have experienced players in the squad to help develop them and set standards B) to actually improve the first team, finish higher, and attract interest C) keep the players you want to sell fit and available
Therein lay our problems…
Dogma and nepotism over strategy and execution. Ego over the best interests of the club.

A few of those anonymous X accounts chiming in with their opinion that JS "is not all that, actually", maybe a few links to other clubs for him, some other managerial names emerging on sock puppet football websites, "really exciting name"...and back to the beginning we go.
I would take Julien Stephan (or Marti Cifuentes, for that matter) with a dedicated DOF and separate CEO over Nourry, Willams and Hoos any day.

he's got rid of Marti, Paul Furlong, Steve Cook and raised season ticket prices and still has people kissing his arse so I doubt anything will change, his supporters will praise whatever he does

id says its a engineered exit plan from him , he knows how the previous coach was dispatchd by the club so go the same route , and repeat with the next one .

or the plan b from nourrythat we are devasated to say that his family couldnt settle in london due to the quality of crosiants in the local area so im sad to say that julian has decided to leave the club and head home, we tried our best and even employed somebody to make them crosiants esp for his family but due to the butter quality and the recipe given to him by our head of everything cycling ben it just didnt work. we wish him well

But Marti's departure was a complete mess.
Would the club really want to go through all of that again?
There was nothing seamless about JS replacing Marti. We were being strongly linked to that bloke who bombed at Norwich last season. If anything we might have got lucky with JS.
To do that all again for a club in our position would be madness.

The Team, whilst the injuries have affected us very badly, should have done much better. He has made (well if it was him) several serious errors of judgement (team selections, tactics, substitutions) which has played badly on results. The jury is out, 100%.
Saying that, keep changing managers are not good so I would, probably, give him another season......he must stop making basic errors, in fact, any errors.
Rather shocked that 'deserves another season' rating is so high.......not sure he deserves anything!!!

Been like that for the last decade. Warburton was sacked for not deeming Hamelainen and Armstrong good enough. Cifuentes wouldn't get on board with Lloyd, Kolli, Morgan etc.
Only manager that had a good group was Holloway, who did what was asked and got sacked anyway

Our best teams, and periods with best return on value for players, also included bringing in experienced quality players at the end of their careers who were able to mentor others around them.
Unfortunately that model also brought in Mark Hately.
Sorry, my daughter was born right on the Burnley game last year so the last week of the season passed me by as we were in hospital!
