It's the same playbook, yes, delivered by a narcisisst in a narcissistic rage at being undermined in public. It seems so incredible that maybe it's not really happening, and it's just a muscle flex. But we can't keep changing experienced managers every season because they disagree with "game model" in its entirety.
On a basic level, if we think Madsen improved after one Championship season at QPR, a similarly capable foreign manager probably will too. Why keep tossing that experience away and starting again?

Thing is, I don't think Stephan's *that* great either, but I would trust him with the first team above Nourry, Williams, Hoos, possibly Betsy...so on that basis, he should stay and a couple of these guys can go.
And besides that, I just don't think this kind of behaviour should be rewarded or at least go unpunished twice in a year. I hope Ruben Gnanalingam does not turn a blind eye this time. It's the politics of an infant.

For balance he’s been to several home games since the turn of the year . I want to say ‘most home games ‘ since the turn of the year, but I don’t absolutely know that for sure

Agree to some extent, but he brought on Burrell to replace Kone and left Kolli on the bench. Having seen what happened to Poku in midweek, I thought, at the match, that Burrell should have been rested for the rest of the season.
Burrell subsequently aggravated his hamstring injury and had to go off leaving QPR down to 10 men as all 3 substitution windows had been used. This undoubtedly cost QPR the win imo.

I agree and especially about Ruben. He needs to get a grip on things and oust Nourry and Williams. The latter is responsible for so many players being unfit this and last season.

No I wouldn't expect them to make the team worse and they didn't, until Burrell had to go off. But in all honesty, Burrell did not look fit against Swansea and I would not have elected him against Derby, even if Williams said he was fit.

It’s the beginning of the end for JS isn’t it. It certainly smells like it, and these articles about him eyeing up a return to Ligue 1, are absolutely laying the groundwork for another managerial exit. It’s these fallow periods that make me worry about Nourry and the power he wields.
I don’t mind JS, I had a soft spot for MartÃ, Warbs looks better as time goes on, and Eustace was in the building…
Whoever it will be next, you can bet it’ll be some algorithmic European football manager fan’s wet dream, rather than you know someone that might be good because they know the league, like Neil or Eustace who surely would have been gettable in the past.
