Rumour in the Conningham last few games has been we're after Filipe Luís and he'll be appointed in the summer. I assumed it was rubbish but have seen his name start to appear on X linked with us now

SJ saying the signing that needs to be focused on this summer is the fitness of the players spoke volumes and I could visualise Man Child Nourryvirus throwing that rattle right out of his pram when he heard it. I don't speaka da French but I translated as "you need to sack your dick mate and get people in who know what they are doing" and/or "stop signing players that break quicker than breadsticks in a foodfight"
It's about time the Frenchman got a bit ballsy but we can see from recent history where that gets you at this club.

There’s a lack of desire out on the pitch, very few players trying to win their own battles, that soft mentality has increased as the season progressed.

Agree, we seem to sleepwalk through parts of the season. Stephan is not really to blame for certain things but you look at the end of the season and you wonder if he is a big enough or tough enough character to really motivate a team that seems to lack desire and fight either side of 3 or 4 games where they turn something on to get out of trouble?
