He also has 12 full international caps and played at Euro 2020. He had something but we couldn't develop it and the Championship overwhelmed him. I think a lot of it, perhaps was he didn't have a strong enough mentality. He seems to have drifted since he left us too. |
We had a string of managers who kept giving him a go because he looked the business in training.

Just like to quickly say that young Rayan has spent today at LR where there was a charity match arranged by YouTubers and influencers (whatever in the fck they are), just hanging out, talking to people and playing keepie uppies with the kids whist watching the spurs game .
Embarrassingly someone then video called me and then handed him the phone so we had a 5 minute chat about the relegation battle going on(he said he really wanted Spurs to come down so he could possibly play there next season), his barnet which now looks very different but pretty good and my QPR NFL shirt I was wearing .
For me it was awkward because I don’t do speaking to strangers that well , but he was polite genuine and friendly. A total credit to himself and his family .
It’s what I’ve heard constantly from people I know at the club so when I still read a few fans hint at a bad attitude or arrogance it annoys me .
We should be cherishing and nurturing young talent like Rayan. After all that is the ‘project’ isn’t it? |  | | |

He happily posed with my son for photos at the club players signing and open training days. And had time for a chat on both days. He was indeed polite, courteous and friendly.
He is 'one of our own' and should be treated with a bit more respect by the club.
He was a 1st team squad player , not a development squad one in the season just ended.
Hopefully, he will be with QPR next season too. | | | |

Its kinda strange with Rayan when he plays and at end of games is thankful to the fans.
Have seen him interviewed and seems a level headed young man and speaks intelligently and appears motivated with a will to learn.
He has undoubted talents but so far does slip out of games at times, but he is still very very young in terms of his career and is the best finisher at the club.
But he is often not selected and a few rumours circulate. And there are murmurs around his family being a bit too involved also.
Its hard for us to know one way or t'other but for me, he is a young player with a potentially high ceiling and his next two seasons in particular will determine the course and levels his career will operate at.
Lets try to ignore the rumours and see where this boy can get to. Definitely needs to be more involved at times, but there are promising signs.

If Kolli had the chance to hone his trade in the Football Combination like loads of youth players back in the day like Clement, Gillard, Francis, Dawes, Neill, Allen, Goddard, Waddock etc., I’m sure that he would be a season or two on in his development. This lad is an excellent prospect and to me has a superb footballing brain. Just look at the way he also strikes the ball you can see that he knows how to play the game. Although for me I do think that his best position would be just behind a front two or off a centre forward. | |
