I seem to remember Super Ray’s last game as QPR Manager was against Bolton Wanderers. Loved Ray didn’t want him to go, it was September I think and felt wrong.
We got Bruce and Skeletor & missed out on Paulo Wanchope after he scored about 3 hat tricks on trial.
Despite the Warnock year and Bobby Z in the 89th, I feel we have never truly recovered from Gerry leaving and the subsequent ripple effect.
Willo going to Spurs is never talked about, similar to Terry Fenwick & Jim Smith, when all is said and done it is truly heartbreaking how that 92 - 95 era team got dismantled.

Have just watched Schumacher's pre-match interview with Bolton News. Very open about his players. Very positive. Loves coming to Loftus Road (was he in charge of Plymouth when, with nine men, they held us to a 0-0 draw?) More than one mention of their game plan - which sounds like putting a lot of energy into it and not letting us play- and particular mention of how to stop Ilias. This game does not sound easy.
