In return for this probably correct decision the referee agreed to not book a Charlton player for anything short of a machete attack so I’m sure he’ll have less favourable referees over the season.
In old money it's probably considered onside. In this day and age of VAR, the lean makes it offside. So end of, move on. Charlton were crap, played for a 0-0 at home and got it, probably would have won with a bit more ambition going forwards. Awful tactics from Jones at home.

Yeah basically JS got booked for pointing out the big clock had already gone past 45+3 at the end of the first half. Meanwhile Jones was shouting at the lino after the offside goal for 5 minutes then shouting at the 3rd official for 5 minutes after their penalty appeals were waved away, yet didn't get booked.
I was sat with Charlton fans and they all agreed that their player should have got a booking for a late challenge on kamara in the middle of the pitch but when we won the corner it looked like he didn't know who had committed the foul.
I think he guessed a lot of it from what I could see.
it looked a tight call, I think whatever they gave you could argue the opposite. To say it cost them the game is laughable though

Jones is dead right about the ridiculous schedule though, 5 games in about 15 days. Nuts.
How can Jones claim this cost his team 3pts? It was first half, it may well have been we equalised or maybe even turned it around and won the game, the goal would have completely changed the way the rest of the match was played. I understand if very late on in the game but ridiculous to claim this considering when the incident happened.

In other seasons QPR would have lost that game 1-0 despite being on top for 99% of the game

yeah I thought it was onside at first viewing then they showed another angle where it could be offside. I'd rather just go with what the ref and Lino went with, I know it went for us so easy to say but thats where I am with refs today, I'll moan about it just like I'll moan about a player missing a chance but rather that than robot football.
With VAR they would have taken 2/3 minutes to check everything and would still be debatable whatever was given

On the offside it was fine margins but VAR would have shown it to be offside. I still think the offside rule is stupid and ruins games. It would be much better that unless there is clear daylight between the attacker and defender that it should be onside. You'd get more goals and it would make the game more exciting. This toenail crap is ridiculous.

Sorry I know I'm biased but am I the only one who thought it was clearly offside straight away? The lean forward definitely put him in front of the defender! Either way it's always good to wind up that stupid, Welsh gnome! P S if it was a goal it's cost them 2 points not 3!

Yes, thought it looked just offside but definitely still offside from the 1st replay and got bored with seeing it over and over and over and over again.
