Thing is, he’s not a winger, he can’t play in between those wingers and the fella on his own, up front, is making a pretty good fist of it.
When we revert to two up front it’s largely about putting pressure on defenders and the one who can’t be named doesn’t fill that criteria at all.
Unless we change a system that’s got us into the top 5, exactly where do we put him?
He’s another one designed in the no 10 production department in an era where no 10’s predominantly don’t fit in.
Simon Stainrod was a great no 10, John Byrne was a great no 10, neither of them would have fitted in this team either.

You bring him on as an impact sub - he's not going to lock down a starting spot with Burrell and Kone kicking about, but if you're chasing a game and you need someone to bag a goal it makes sense to bring on one of the best finishers at the club.

in the games ive seen him i have always thought is best postion is just behind a striker trying to find pockets to work in pick up loose balls etc hes not got the pace to play on the wings and needs to up his work rate chasing back to help out on any breaks he can hit a ball thats for sure but the set up needs a bit more than that at the moment , he will prob get on the bench sat id imagine |  |

Yeah agree with that. I think (if people are fit and assume Chair is out for a few weeks or more) then the back 4, goalie, x2 central midfielders are pretty settled. And to me are strong. We then have Burrell up top and Poku on the right. The issue does come in that number 10 or 3rd midfielder. Maybe Kolli could take that role? Vale has been a bit hit and miss. Chair injured. For me, Kolli, Saito and Dembele are other options there. | | | |

The situation/ debate has moved on a tad, surely?
You can think he is a future superstar or a disruptive, lazy waste of space, or something in between.
But the fact is one of strikers never plays, another never scores, another is injured and the one (very good, fit, in form) striker we do have is in danger of being flogged to death due to lack of decent bench options.
To me it’s a no brainer he is put on the bench.
And incidentally, if it is true that other players have complained about his training methods and don’t want him in the team it is noticeable that a positive post about the unmentionable striker with the hair got “likes” from much of the first team this morning… | | | |

If by managed you mean is his Dad his Agent, no he's not. His agent was Shree Usher when he renewed his contract in Jan 2025, and he's most recently been represented by Philippe Piola at Deal With My Agent, he's no longer listed as a client on Transfermarkt though so something may have changed there very recently.

To add, was encouraging to see him get some minutes yesterday, hopefully the start of him being reintegrated in to the Squad rather than a calculated move by Nourry to have an answer if the question is allowed at the Fans Forum.
Might be looking in to things too much myself, but his Instagram post yesterday was very interesting in terms of tagging the location as 'Home', the lyrics of the accompanying song, positive interactions from the Squad that supposedly hate him, and a lot of comments from ex Academy Teammates suggesting he's been locked/chained up. | | | |
