Glad I nailed my colours to the mast early doors. In the minority that we would win today, but I think Swansea are on the way off their wave and back down the table.
Wish our fans were more positive and realised that the squad from top to bottom are solid and more together than previously. Yes we are missing key players but the ones that are still fit are no slouches
Kone & Smyth an awesome combo up front and really enjoyable to watch - And Kone constantly getting himself in a position to score. Hopefully this will really boost his confidence, because I really think he relies on confidence
Kone really finished well but his layoffs and holdup play was really good too. Also looked fitter, sharper and most importantly, happier.
Those possessed by devils, try and keep them under control a bit, can't you ?

Smyth player of season to date?
Not as lauded as the likes of Rolls Royce Ronnie or Prince Charles and in a way it doesnāt even matter as itās a team game, but tieless running as usual and nowadays with an end product. He doesnāt get an assist for āwinningā the penalty but he effectively made us two goals today.
At the start of the season probably well behind a number of our diminutive wingers in the ideal 1st 11 of most Rangers fans. But at Rangers we donāt get to see those first 11s, so being a) always available and b) chalking up all these goal contributions he has grown indispensable.
good shout ... a great example to younger players who aren't quite good enough for Championship level but if you work, and work at it, stay focussed, give it 100% and keep striving to improve you can make it.

Vancouver posted a thread about the next three games a while back that I was going to post on but didnāt.
Sadly my thoughts were how the morale of the fan base would react to 0 points out of 9 which is what I envisage with a loss tomorrow and next week on the south coast.
I hate to be this gloomy but with the injuries I canāt see it any other way.
I hope Iām wrong, of course.
What do I know?

Kone's first goal was like an exorcism he's looked non league all season, scores in the 2nd minute and looks premiership quality again monstered their back 4 with tearing them them to pieces alongside him. Oh and Adamson gets better and better with every game now looking every bit the upper championship right back

Not even the fastest hatrick for QPR. Clive Allen hit three in 12 minutes v Charlton in 1982.
Maybe the earliest hatrick, but not the fastest.
I suddenly remembered this James Hayter hat-trick, achieved as a sub, in under three minutes :
"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

I felt as soon as Kone scored that first goal that Smyth's square ball to him might just be the assist of the season. Smyth probably scores if he takes a shot himself, but he realised I think the value to the team of getting Kone up and running.
About the only thing that upset me today was Kolli not laying off the ball to Isak who had an empty net to roll the ball into. I know strikers are supposed to be selfish, but when you're a player whose commitment to the team has been questioned publicly, that would have been a very good way of showing that the penny is beginning to drop.
I'd also say that we probably dodged a bit of a bullet today by killing the game so early, as I thought the ref was pretty weak throughout and a close game could easily have degenerated into anarchy.
Minor gripes really though. the whole day was just fantastic.
