Redknapp stayed after we got relegated, not even close, although I can't stand the bloke.

Dodgy knees or just totally dodgy

Redknapp did at least have a career record behind him and we got promoted with him at the helm.

Beale has left us in a very similar position to when he came in but tbh he has been way more corrupt.

What you see is what you got with Redknapp and his character seems more genuine.

Beale is a fake through and through !!!

He has duped the other Rangers now !!!

Beale is an absolute scumbag. The worst. No comparison.

ps: and I fcuking detest Redknapp

pps: to show I’m no hater (and to lose any popularity) there were times I liked Hughes the manager

It's like asking what is your favourite type of shit to step in.
Fox shit or dog shit ?

As much as our day at Wembley will forever be one of the best of my life, I think Harry is worse for me. He did far more damage to the club - of which we're still feeling the ramifications.

The owners were of course naive in indulging him, but his carefree attitude to spending has set us back 15-20 years.

Beale didn't stick around to have that level of (negative) impact, but he was at least looking like progressing us to a degree, even if it was largely as a self-serving exercise.

Docherty & Docherty.

3rd place goes to Redknapp.

I think Hughes did more damage there.

Redknapp by a country mile.

I cannot stand him and always shout at the radio adverts that start "'Ello 'Arry", as if he's everyone's best mate and a right larf.

There is also a difference between a bullshitter and a crook. Allegedly.

Suffering since 1978.

Redknapp screwed out club for many years. Beale left it in a better state than he found it. Not close.

Why stop now, just when I'm hating it

Rednapp very much pushed us towards the FFP door.

Never knowingly right.

Arry and Meticulous between them virtually screwed the club in perpetuity.
For me there’s no comparison between them and Beale in terms of the damage done, lying barsteward though he undoubtedly is.

What Beale has done leaves a sour taste in the mouth but at least he's left this club in a better place than he found it, even if only barely.

Redknapp at least achieved something here although doubt either will be remembered fondly

Let's have it right, Beale left us mid season after a decent enough start. Redknapp did untold damage (enabled by our board) and left us in the lurch when he was finally called on his bullshit.

In the history of this club, Beale will end up an addendum, but Redknapp is a whole, nasty chapter

Hughes.

Indeed. 'Meticulous planning' saved us from relegation (just!) but bought Julio Cesar , Bosingwa and Ji Sung Park, Mbia, Granero to name but a few.

Both he and Arry have lot to answer for.

CandleFace - all hands down.

As others have said - a ruinous period of our history and him following Hughes was like Wat following Pestilence

You may have noticed I'm no fan of Bungle but he'd of become a good owner if he'd agreed that CandleFace walked away after Wembley.
I was pushing for that as soon as I heard his "looking at what golf clubs to play at" speech on the pitch at FT.... I could not believe my ears. It was obvious to me the last thing we needed was a repeat of high profile dodgy signings which is exactly the M.O of Redknapps career and is exactly what he did. To cap it all off he then put his feet up and watched it all collapse.

Beale-end feels particularly bad as it's just happened and his public statements. I am convinced we'll be laughing at him in 9 months time when he's being chased out of town by a load of sectarian imbeciles of both persuasion.
Here's hoping

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

Yep - end of thread really (?). I know its all the rage about Beale atm but there is no comparison with Hughes/Redknapp in terms of FFP long-term structural damage done.
