I have such mixed feelings about Wrexham - on one hand, I resent them buying their way through the EFL with money and star power. On the other hand, it really feels like Reynolds and Mac care about the club (especially Mac, who's learned Welsh and seems to spend every other weekend watching games), so it's hard to hate that.

I honestly dont have a problem with them , they struck lucky got high value owners with as many connections as you could want for sponsership tv show , more money coming in than some prem sides , and seem in most places to be doing it the right way to get promoted , we wouldnt complain if we had the same thing offered to us would we ? | |

yep lived through it all thanks and the TF years as well thing is wrexham did it the right way , soon as they bought the club they did what we didnt , they found football people to run it , something we was begging out for from the first day , we had phil beard amongst others , if we had of done the sensible thing and brought in actual football people to run the club who nows what might have happened.football is money big money its either jump on board or fester till you end up like preston and blackburn each season just surviving to do it all again the following season. | |

This is a funny spot, and we should never stop reminding everyone of Southampton's cheating, but Disney FC are terrible.
I just don't see how their story ends.
If they don't get promoted to the Premier League people will get bored of watching a series about a Championship team every year (ask us how we know).
Then the sponsorship starts to dry up, the club starts losing money again, the owners get bored. They can't invest to the levels they did before because of regulations, they want to sell up and recoup some money. No-one wants to buy a Welsh Championship club that loses money, so they stagnate, maybe they get relegated.
Anyway, I forget my point now...

I believe the rules on spending are different (i.e. more loose) in the lower Leagues so with the right influx of cash any team should be able to advance but once you get to the Championship it's a whole different gravy.
As said, if they don't get promoted this or next season (even that may be too long for the must-have-everything-now world we live in) the interest could indeed wain with natural consequences in regards to sponsors, players they can attract etc. | | | |

How are they cheating ? sorry u lost me on that one , they got football people in to run a football club and they have savvy owners using the contacts they have to make money , all the things if they was offered to us right now the club would bite both hands off immed .Smaller gound at present than us but making 30 million clear profit this season , hows that cheating ? | |
