Pick up your icebox, have a sh@t in it, take all your usual post match drivel and just go man.

The Knighthood needs to be taken back off of "Sir" Les as well. He's not fit for purpose.

Club is a shambles.
It's a shambles presided over by the current lot.
The transfers are a disgrace, all the Eze money wasted putting together a rudderless, clueless and downright weak as pi$$ physically squad. We look totally unfit, devoid of any tactical nouse and more than ever you must be able to smell the relegation that has been stenching around this club for a few years. Bentford Sleeper Agent Warburton the final piece in the jigsaw.

Do hope the Clubshop has got lots of plastic bedsheets and quilts in stock for Christmas.... the bedwetter club will have grown considerably by the time 2021 kicks in.

Season 2020/21... was going to be the one where all the prudence kicked in wasn't it? FFP like a millstone for loads of other clubs and a really weak Division???
Well I've only seen one team weak, looking a beaten rabble with no belief, no battle and zero bottle. They play in hoops and are shameful.

I'll retire back to my self imposed exile... the usuals will be on digging it and giving it the here he is again.. "Ooooooooh... you're never here when we win" --- right enough, we don't that often.

6 wins in 38 is it?
Over 100 goals conceeded in a calendar year

But just who'll do the job they cry? Plenty, it's just I wouldn't trust the current leadership to pick a nipple out of a barrel of boobs - clueless w@nkers to a man.

League One Roadmaps.. £3.85, get 'em while they're hot.

See ya

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

The issue I have with going down is that the owners departure will surely follow...

If TF doesn’t see his name up in lights in the Prem any time soon, he and Tune could pull the plug and leave us in the shit. It’s not just a question of us resetting and starting youth players in L1...someone needs to keep signing the substantional cheques to keep us afloat.

It is vital that we stay up this year. They need to go out and bring in some loan players in Jan (wells Hugil types) to get us through this season and then reset the whole thing in the summer. With or without Warbs.

If the owners are serious about the long term future of the club, I would go and bring in someone who has been inside Burnley, Leicester, Shaktar, Leipsig and see how clubs can be run sustainably and make money on sales.

Things need changing drastically otherwise we could easily go bust in L1.

Poll: Who will the other play off

Totally agree with your post.

One observation - Lee Hoos (former Burnley CEO)... the strategy isn’t in question as far as I am concerned but something isn’t right on the playing side though.

Before the days of big money and the Premier League, getting relegated was not a disaster as there wasn't the same level of money in the game. By and large you kept most of your players and started again as there were nowhere near the same levels of transfers as you didn't have the foreign market or TV money.

Today it is a very different story because of the amount of money out there. Any club that goes down now has to cut costs and restrict the budgets further making it much harder to get back up. It is different dropping from the Premiership to the Championship as those clubs will be handsomely rewarded. Our brief recent excursions at the top level had us hanging onto the coat tails trying to stay up.

If we find ourselves in league 1 making further cuts it will be a while before we get back and if we do, the gap between the fairly well off clubs in the Championship will be greater. Chances are we will be hanging onto the coat tails of Championship clubs like Rotherham seem to do everytime they come up because of their smaller budget.

Whatever it takes we have to stay up to continue the off the pitch progress. The whole point of gradually getting better with a long term plan is the graph has an upward curve season after season. You don't progress by collapsing half way through the process by getting relegated.

Something has to be done in January to avert this slide as we need a leader, a goalscorer, a creative midfielder at least. Similar size clubs to us like Reading, Luton, Barnsley, Swansea, Preston etc are doing rather better. I think Reading are 16 points above us now and Barnsley have won five of their last six games.

I wouldn’t use Leipzig as an example, they’ve been bankrolled by Red Bull (as have Salzburg) and are much hated in Germany for pushing the 50+1 rule, also being a 1 club town, and as stated above we’ve got Hoos who helped Burnley on their way.

The problem with being in league one is that our ever eroding fan base will be hit even further when Brentford join Chelsea and Fulham next season.
Southampton and Leicester are one club towns. No competition for supporters.
We will be f**ed if we end up there.
I want Warburton to succeed but he's not.
He can't survive 4 wins by mid January .
He will be gone. I'd stick Eustace in charge for a bit and see how it pans out. Its got to be worth a go!!

No way should Eustace be in charge what’s the point of that, these players need a nasty so and so to organise them , having Eustace would be like having a supply teacher come into the naughty class

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore

Of course we don't. It's patently ridiculous just how many people within the higher echelons of the club we have on fat salaries while the performances on the pitch are arguably the worst they've been for two decades. The problem is with an absent board who appoint a puppet chairman and DoF. Look at Brentford - winning every week and in a League Cup Semi-Final but with a hands-on owner. Either step up to the plate and run the club or sell up.

They are wrong: it was Ramsey on his own.
Unlike you to fall for the myth that everything in the mainstream media is 100% accurate.

The DoF issue is complex. I’m personally in favour. But have no issue with those who disagree.

But, IMO, that’s a big, strategic decision for a close season, not mid season.

Today we have an urgent decision to make purely on the playing side.

For lots of reasons, and having played out the potential scenarios, I think you have to let MW go.

Norwich is a game we lose regardless. Leave Eustace to cover it. Appoint someone (preferably Cook) before Jan, when we play Luton, Wycombe and Derby... We cannot waste those games. Feb looks tough.

No point sacking Warburton unless the club have a replacement lined up.. Ollie anyone?

For God's Sake Go on 18:47 - Dec 26 with 2995 viewsRangersDave

Get rid and now...... its our only possible chance of survival with a possibility of picking a player or 4 in January.

After all, who's going to look at Rangers and Warburton / Sir Les and come here to get relagated?

Whereas a new manager with a new DOF (do we really need one?), as Les is as much use as a 1 legged man at an ass kicking contest. Christ, saving his wage might get us a player or 2 on loan (wage wise), might just be what we need to strengthen the defence, and push upwards rather than languish.

So, in my book..... Warbs and Les should both go and go now...... however, will they? do they have the decency to do so, for the good of the team?

6.51pm and Warburton is still the manager how ffs?
Usual bulls51t post match interview. Table doesn't lie I'm afraid.
He's not going to turn this round. Players don't have an ounce of belief in him.

Leipzig may of have had investment but we more than anyone know that it is no guarantee of success.

My reference was more about their club structure & vision. They bring in unknown players from all corners of the world and then sell them for huge sums of money years later. They invest heavily in the scouting system rather than bringing in good lads from Warbs' old teams. They have a philosophy that all of their youth teams buy into and hire managers that suit this philosophy e.g. Nagelsmann

It wasnt long ago that they were in the fifth level of German football and we actually played them in pre-season during their rise up the ladder.

Obviously i appreciate the corporate part isnt loved by traditional football fans (including myself) but they are also contributing towards large numbers of players playing for German national team and supporting youth football in the process. Could be worse.

Here is a good video on it from the mastermind of it Ralph Rangnick if you are interested.

I think we could do worse than bringing in someone who has been part of it. Alternatively we can go down the Steve Cotterill/Mick McCarthy route instead .

"At the moment we're flattering to deceive."

Really? I don't feel flattered. Do you feel flattered? I feel as if I'd rather have stayed in bed on Boxing Day morning than drag myself in front of the computer at 6:45 to watch that apology for a football match.

Fck me I better quit now while my stock is at it’s highest 😂

It’s a shitty situation that’s for sure. I have no idea how to to turn it around without flushing the long term plan down the toilet.

Thing is mate I don't agree with the long plan I'm more Keynsiam than Milton Freidman shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

But basically, I'm in the middle of all the ridic nonsense since 2011, and in terms of Business Organisation & Management and Strategy I sort of (feel a bit of a spanner to say this) f know that they have it very very wrong.

I want Lee Hoos to stay and Les isn't Evil Les or Useless Les, I feel his job needs a change in the Remit.

Love to you Bazza but have a look sometimes cos remember you can walk away yet some people always have to fight because they have no option ;-)
