It was a good save but hes hit it towards the keeper instead of the bottom corner. You cannot afford to waste them sort of chances in tournaments. | | | |

Harsh result on Scotland. They were good for the draw I thought. Dykes chance, think he reacted and made sure he got it on target, another foot or so to the left and that probably goes in. Very fine margins. Think he did OK overall causing a constant threat and used his physicality well. Overall though the Scottish squad doesn't seem to run to much depth and losing players like Tomlinson makes it very difficult for them.
They were not disgraced by that performance at all and remained competitive. Czech's looked solid and well organised with a few players who can turn in match winning performances. We will need to be very wary if we need to beat them to progress. Now also means that Scotland's game against England almost becomes a must win one for them. |  |

I didn't think Scotland were bad, though the Czech's did fare better in the 2nd half, it just came down to finishing (as it often does in footie) and the Czech's finished well and Scotland didn't.
