The side that finished tonight should be the team that starts Saturday, but I would bet all the tea in China,JS goes back to Varane and Saito.

It's a given.

Charlton now above us. Next games Portsmouth and Leicester. Lose those and we are right in it. Has Stefan lost the dressing room? It is more than just injuries. Why pick Saito every game. He is truly shocking. Supporters get no feedback from the senior management. Rueben you have to act. Man up as something is very wrong.and there is a bit of a doomed feeling around us at the moment

Charlton above us now.

And look who they beat at their place as well. Can't see us doing anything at the moment, actually thought our players were contriving to get Stephan out in the 1st half and have been since Blackburn at home.

To be fair, Morgan was awful.

I’m a Morgan fan,I would like to think given a run in the team he may end up a saleable asset but he does get caught in possession a lot.Still only 19 and you very rarely see him pass backwards.

Tragedy is Brum are gash. We could h@ve had them tonight without doubt.
Shameful first half.

Yes they should have had at least 2 more first half. Only encouraging thing was Poku and we were more in the game second half but we just don’t have a goal threat ..just one shot on target and we did not look like scoring. Just looking at teams below us and Oxford Leicester picking up points Charlton and Norwich going past us. Good job Saints scored equaliser at WBA. The home games Portsmouth Swansea Bristol City and Derby vital we couple of wins and couple of draws but as others said we are in a scrap now,

He Cant keep his job after tonight.

You cant help but feel that the players would breathe a sigh of relief should Julien depart.

His team selections, his late changes, his players losing the ability to control a football and pass it to a team mate.

First half was hell. Second half better.
I think Mbengue is now off the hook with the yellows?
Varane and Saito were horrid. Edwards looked lost in the midfield. Much better at defence. Not sure about Kolli. Lots of effort but...
Morgan not even the effort...
Poku will come good. Just hope he stays fit.
But it was a crxp game. Not Ainsworth level crxp but close.

Stating the obvious but we lost that game in the first half and any other night we would and quite rightly should have been 3 or 4 down .
How any manager can do nothing and let that play out until half time is pretty much treason ! The only ones who should be more ashamed is Birmingham for not truly bumming us in the you know what !
Technically 4 centre backs as a back 4 and another in midfield for good measure . Varane was sitting so deep marking nobody doing a lord lucan and saito I can’t even feel nd any words for atm
All that going on and we had the players on the bench who when eventually came on showed we could actually compete to some sort of standard .
Julie can fck right off and keep fking off as far as I’m concerned now !!

I reckon part of our problem is we have some really low IQ players. I'm not saying you have to be brains of Britain to be a successful footballer but you hear Ronnie, Morgan, Koné, Mbengue speak and they're pretty basic in the brains department. Varane got a whole bloody piece in the Guardian because he went to the British museum once while he was injured and has read a couple of books. Must be a challenge coaching stupid players who make such poor decisions on the pitch. That said, I'm not sure the manager has much going on between the ears either.

Why the negativity? This was our best result in four games.

Poll: QPR to finish 7th or Brentford to drop out of the top 6?

We just need a 3-0 loss now to complete the set.

Just got back to the pub waiting for the train and that's me done for a few weeks

Can't take the direction and lack of effort these players are putting in

We deserved absolutely nothing tonight and didn't lay a glove on a dreadful Birmingham team

Let's thank the Lord for small mercies. I imagine the state we'd be in if we hadn't sacked off the league cup.

The most frustrating thing for me, apart from the usual lack of fight, is seeing our free kicks hitting the front man time after time. In our predicament you have to make your set pieces count.

That's a sad but true indictment of what QPR have become, hope you get home alright.

My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.

Boro wiped the floor with us and won 7-1 on aggregate while Charlton drew 2-2 on aggregate with them recording a 13th clean sheet tonight. Seems like they can defend a bit better than us. Tonight I couldn't be bothered to watch the inevitable defeat but I did note at half time the shot count was 14-0. As I pointed out months ago, the whole ethos of the game is to score goals but if we don't want to shoot then we are in the wrong sport.

After that 1st half, we should “ tear them off a strip”, as we used to say in the RAF.

True, what’s he had, like 3 starts in midfield all season, saw someone post on Facebook earlier. By the 70 mknute( so 25 mins he’d been on) he made triple the amount of successful passes that Varane made in 45 mins. Sums it up really but Morgan’s the scapegoat 🫣

Agreed but you have to be vaguely near the opponents goal to have the opportunity to shoot .

That first half was as bad as I think I’ve ever seen.
It wasn’t just that we couldn’t pass , or defend, or sprint, or get close to an opponent anywhere on the pitch.
It was the body language, the attitude , the ability to do the absolute basics and the ability to read the most simple movements by a pretty ordinary opposition.
If it was up to me Varane wouldn’t get near the team for a while . I thought his attitude stank tonight . Saito too, simply for the reason he has just lost any semblance of being a footballer .
He reminds me of PE at school where the ‘unsporty’ kids were forced to play football and they spent the whole time running around but not actually involved in any way.

But they weren’t the only ones .

Stephen once again hanging himself by his own petard.
Once again loses the midfield before we even start. Picks the wrong players in the wrong positions and is too slow to change it . Half time was 25 minutes too late .

Mbengue played like he wanted a couple of games off and must be furious he didn’t get booked as that’s where all his effort went . Kone , an absolute passenger .
Crumbs of positivity ..and its crumbs seen only under a microscope.
Poku didn’t die after 20 minutes of football and did more in that time than Saito has in about 3 months.
Kolli nothing special but at least provided a semblance of keeping the football ..holding it up and bringing others into play . That’s seen as a positive believe it or not . That’s how bad we are.

But we are sh*t aren’t we . From top to bottom , from back to front , the whole club is utter sh*t.
Completely drained by it now .
