Great tackles and interceptions, didnt let me his man get an easy ball to feet through the middle, always calm and progressive on the ball, scores a goal and has already sewn up the Assist of the Season award. This will be my 10yr old daughter's first Away game, long in the diary due to a Leicester living (grand)mother(in-law). I have told her that it will be miserable with QPR losing from early on and lots of sad/angy people shouting rude words at people they love for letting them down. And no Jude the Cat. She's still up for it though, saying "things never turn out like you think". 0-1 Rangers, in honour of her wisdom and resilience.
As soon as I read this (and Old Pedro's post too) my mood changed, the wind changed, there was something in the air - all power to the daughters!!!
How does the song goes, "What a difference a day makes"............. paraphrase that with 3 days
I was not expecting that especially after going down after 10 odd minutes
But have to give the team their due they never let their heads drop and in a very poor 1sh half by both teams we were the better team
The 2nd half got off the the best possible start.........be it ever so fortuitous.........but we then looked very comfortable, got the 3rd goal and never looked like losing that lead
Leicester though have more issues than us, a multi million £ squad which are below poor........
Shout out to most of the players, none outstanding but good performances by Morgan, Smyth, Koli, Kone and RND left out Vale.............and MOTM Edwards for me. Took his goal well, and was towering in defence
So we can all sign a collective relief, and Portsmouth next week may be a little less fraught

I agree about Ronnie. Sheer class. Plus when he scored, that is the passion that I want to see.
Elsewhere, good character shown through the team. Special mention to Smythy. Played the role well and lent valuable support to RND against their good right winger.
Didn't agree with the subsitutions at all - bringing on two players who are completely out of sorts - both of whom didn't really help the situation at all. I'll put those down to Sports Science.
And Spaceman, yes, take a bow.

Hopefully this will settle a lot of nerves.
A touch of luck with our second but that was enough to take the weights from our shoulders and have confidence pumping through our veins. Almost immediately the players looked half a yard quicker.
We beat a poor Leicester side, as we should.
Essential now that we put in a professional performance next Saturday and put these thoughts of relegation behind us.

How we got there I don’t know and I don’t care. The first goal changed us completely. We looked sharper, tighter and much more compact . Very small signs of patterns of play and actually some desire. And some bookings …hallelujah.
Ronnie man of the match he for me today . Much, much better . Vale and Smyth with big battling performances too.

All negativity aside as there has been plenty from me over the last few weeks, but that was actually a professional performance in the end. The only aberration was how the midfield disappeared and the defence backed off for their first goal.
Irrespective of how bad they were (especially Mr Nelson), we bossed that game and deserved the three.
Just put the crap last few weeks in the bottom drawer and never bring them out again...
Smyth wasn't all that, but his defensive work is what should put him ahead of Saito in away games like this. Please can Poku get fit; there really is a player there...

Great turnaround
Had a manic afternoon at work, switched on at 35 mins and we were looking ok, couldnt see the issues. Clearly we were proper pony for the first 30 mins
