For me, he could be the perfect super sub for ourselves.
But, it seems increasingly likely that he won't be here this season.
Two years ago he apparently turned down a loan. I dont know the circumstances behind that, but that would have made perfect sense then. The very fact, we have managed to get in two very decent strikers and this pre season Alfie Lloyd has been used a lot in friendlies also, is quite damning.
Like most I would very much like to keep Rayan, but I think it is very hard to see Rayan having any kind of future here. We could loan him out for the season, but not sure he would accept that. But realistically, if he went somewhere did extremely well, we sell him for a decent fee this time next year. Selling him now won't get much more than £1 million, I would suggest and there is the potential for that buyer to get an absolute monster for the price.
I just dont see it happening for him here, which is poor all round to be fair - to the player, his family, his advisors, his agent and the club also.
If he goes this season, will Obikwu ever be available and are we keeping or moving Alfie on. Definitely for me the one priority now is a third choice centre forward. I dont think we will buy one though myself. Think we may have to keep Alfie on. He has done much better in preseason than I expected, but I feel this is how things will play out for ourselves, especially as I think we will play mainly with one up front, as opposed to two. I was talking to a Wycombe workmate this morning, he mentioned they might be looking to get him on loan for next season?
Might not be a bad move for him if that happens. Get regular game time and hopefully hone his all round game, for him to kick on with us in 2027/28. |

An academy graduate since being a little kid, already into double figures for goals and training with his World Cup bound country not good enough for you! We might as well close down the academy today if you think we're going to be churning out better attackers than him on the regular.
There's obviously issues of some sort but we'll be extremely lucky to develop a more promising striker than him in a long time to come.
Sure, he may not make it but he's got a much better chance than anyone else who won that developmental Cup a couple of years back. |
thats true as the club jettisoned most of the not long after , how long can u be classified as promising though ? this is the third season since he got his chance and hes still not even an autmatic choice for the bench let alone starting line up .
and two coaches has said , HE knows what he needs to do to get in the squad . is that a coincidence ? |  |

Yes I do.
Some players exaggerate their pain. Its been done by a few over the years.
It is very suspect for me. If i am wrong I am wrong. He has done this a couple of times previous too.
Its just a gut feeling. The fact no manager plays this guy despite his very obvious talents. Anyhow I dont need say anymore.
If he plays and does well for the first team, all well and good, but i just cant not get bad vibes re this incredibly talented footballer.

No 100% true I’m afraid somebody posted up the teams and then said Kolli came off during he warm up with an injury and don’t take any part in the game atall , it did seem a. Weird pre season game to play against players looking for club who have been let go . We lost 2-1 no idea who scored for us sorry

Whatever the hell is or is not going on with this bloke, it's just annoying now.
He's a young man and yet: he seems to be perpetually injured and getting 90 minutes out of him is an hallelujah moment. He's simply too unreliable. Not sure his dad's helping, and if there's any truth in the rumour that Kolli won't entertain a loan, then I can understand QPR's frustrations.
Frankly, I'm bored of this saga and its difficult to see a conclusion other than the one it's been heading towards for some time. |  |
