Should we concentrate now on blooding younger players and giving them experience at playing at this level? Appreciate we are having to do that anyway at the moment due to injuries.

Logically I guess you would say that we are pretty much stagnant this season, though there are still a few games left to play
Personally and I think the club professionally will keep aiming to finish as high as they can... and that means think they will put out as strong a team as they can... injuries allowing.
I can't see too many left field selections, for me I would like Sutton to get a bit more game time especially with the injuries to the wide players we have
I like to also see Bennie rotate with Kone and Koli .. in fact I think if not careful we are going to burn Kone out, and we may even give the new lad a game or two
I also think we have to closely look at Madsen, he also has had a long season already, it is just unfortunate that there really is no like for like replacement.... in this respect I feel JS needs to change the system to allow Madsen a rest |  | | |

I tend to give a huge sigh of relief when we reach 50 points.
We should somehow find a way of asking supporters who fork out an awful lot of money each week to follow QPR home and away If we should be blooding Younger players, of course the club aren't going to be able to ask supporters that question, but all the same If I was to turn up at Blackburn next February and see a staring eleven with too many youngsters In the starting line up I'd be pretty pissed off.
Without question we should attempt to win our remaining fixtures and yes I accept the necessary need to give youngsters the start but we should be looking up the table and doing our utmost best to get our arses up there.

My view the.like for like replacement for Madsen will be Edwards.
With Cook Dunne and JCS occasionally we will see Edwards get game time but not neccessarily at centre back.

Football matches - best possible XI on the pitch every single league and cup game unless it is mathematically impossible to do anything in either direction towards the end of a season.

I think we’ve pretty much played our best available team for most of the season apart from when we’ve had to rest players who were knackered/injured, one cup game when we had loads of injuries and hadn’t got our transfers in, and WBA away which was a mistake as we could have won that but was the start of the frenzied Christmas period so is a bit understandable. | | | |

Was thinking that this morning about tonight's game, I'm feeling fairly ambivalent about the result even if I'll still be shouting at the telly.
I think it is basically over. I don't think we're so bad that we'll go on a dreadful run and be in danger of the bottom three (over to you, QPR...). Equally we're not good enough to go on a decent run to threaten the top six or even top ten. Of course all the injuries don't help, plus the manager's occasional brain farts, playing inverted wingers, etc.

If we were four points adrift at the bottom we would be fighting hell for leather for every single point, so why not now?
Fitness and injuries can be addressed mid-season. Get that right and we're in a great position.

Besides........... seasons normally end in May. Until such a time that the last ball is kicked in the last game then everyone connected to Queens park Rangers Football Club should be giving 100%, no less.
Then, after that last ball is kicked, those responsible for things off the pitch need to continue giving 100% and be sorting out the medical and fitness side of things plus planning for next season and the one after and the one after.....
A win tonight in another Association Football match will be most welcome.

Sutton has gone back out on loan for the rest of the season I understand.
To answer the original question about 2 or 3 players I'd like to see more of whilst pushing to get as high up the table as possible:-
1. Kone - I'd like to see him prove me wrong and hit double figures. I've never been convinced and remain very much in the to be convinced camp.
2. Kolli - loads of people I know don't feel the same positivity I do about this young lad. For me I can see talent in him, what I need to see now is robustness and a goal every two or three games.
3. Poku - said back in August we've signed a crock and I still think the club will be lucky to get 50 sets of 90 minutes games out of him over his 4 year Contract. I would love him to string a run of games together over the back 9 of the season and again prove me wrong. | |
