What would you guys like on that agenda?

Annual interview with the manager... on 19:19 - Jul 11 with 1776 viewsHunterhoop

What are his personal values?

How does he plan to engage and win over the fanbase apart from the obvious “win games”?

What is his view on the cup competitions, especially given the perceived lack of squad depth?

Which sides in the league does he think look the strongest as things stand?

What does he believe the biggest strengths and positives are of QPR as a club? Follow up: how does he plan to make best use of them?

Michael or Mick?

And what did he feel about QPR Twitter throwing up almost instantly 'Michael Beale's blue and white army' as its new heading? Isn't that very premature as he has done nothing yet?

Is it really worth keeping the academy as in its current format it hasn't produced anything for years. Would we be better off picking up players released by other academies. As we did for the likes of Eze or just signing youngster like Willock and Chair. Especially now Brentford have been made to reintroduce their academy.

Was intrigued to see that he’s related to Ray Harford - what were Ray’s favourite memories of his time at Rangers? Did he have a kind word for the fans?

(Actually maybe avoid that one)

How would he deal with a situation where he thought that the young players being produced by the club weren't good enough for first-team football?

This is the best Q on here so far - without telling him that this is the case, it is asking what he would do if he agreed with Warbs and the majority of us regarding the strength of the current crop of "kids" - most are not ready...

What is his optimum squad size bearing in mind he can now use 16 players on a matchday? Somewhere around 25 first teamers?

Can we go out yet?

What did the board tell you that made you want to take QPR for your first crack at being top man?
From what you've seen so far, has it met your expectations?

Presumably he’d f*ck off to become a junior coach at a Prem club, but still be treated like some kind of Messiah by some of the fan base.

What are his views on gamesmanship, will our team play with a Corinthian Spirit or embrace the dark arts to the extreme?

Will he field weakened teams in the cup competitions?

What rule/rules would he like to see changed to improve the game?

Last question is a good one. You'd never get an honest answer for the first two. So probably best not ask

Hi Clive,

What are his first impressions of QPR as an employee?

How are you? How has the first month been?

What is going well so far?

How is the new job and QPR lining up to your initial expectations?

What are the current challenges?

What are your goals for this season?

Does this new role provide you with a good work life balance? (he made a comment that he sees more of Les than his wife at the kit launch)

In football which managers or coaches does Mick most respect and follow?

Thanks,
James

Will he give the younger players extended runs in the first team even when they are still developing and may be unproven?

Or will they mainly be loaned out instead?

Thank you Clive.

How can you/we make Rangers an attractive proposition for new (younger…) fans if we’re basically on a sensible, austere, ‘accounting exercise’ for the next few years while all our West London rivals ‘feast’ at the Premier League table?

NB: Appreciate this is probably more of a Lee Hoos/Les Ferdinand question, but MB might want to say something about a positive attractive playing style etc.

Been interested in his approach to tactics - lots of Christmas tree talk from Rangers and Villa fans. Is he wedded to that? Has being with the players so far changed his thoughts on how he might like to set us up?

I believe he's gone on record saying he was going to have conversations to determine what factors contributed to the second-half slide. Did he discover anything not obvious to those of us on the outside? Can he avoid the same pitfalls?

This for me.
Even if he doesn’t want to reveal any of the reasons that the players have confided in him, has he satisfied himself that he got to the bottom of it?
