Can’t see how we could reject £10m+ for Ronnie. He’s capable of slotting into their new back line. I think the biggest problem is Ronnie would be too handsome for Burnley and his demands for a double locker in the dressing room (one for kit, one for beauty & grooming products) would likely be too much for Burnley to accept. So probably unlikely for a deal to happen because of that.

Anyone know what happened at Fiorentina?
He terminated his contract there by mutual consent in May having been signed last summer for €6m. He tore his ACL soon after joining, so didn’t play much, but still odd for him to want out and Fiorentina to just write off a €6m signing.
He has a 100 games in the Prem over 4 years so you’d think will be a big upgrade at right back, but also may only play half the season due to injuries.
If he’s not available for a while either that ACL was misdiagnosed and a lot worse than thought, he redid it, or he’s picked up some other long term knock.
Either way, as a shot to nothing (free signing) hopefully on similar to Celar, it’s a good move.

Would really move our play down the right forward if they can get his body working, big ask of our conditioning team who are better at injuring previously healthy players than they are at fixing previously injured ones!

If memory serves, he actually got injured somewhere around 3 and a half minutes, (it was right in front of me) and he then spent several minutes getting treatment on the pitch before getting subbed.
So, if anything Dyer's 7 minute spell is a great exaggeration of the truth!!
