Firstly I'd sack Ben Williams and his cycling mates
I'd change all 3 goalkeepers that have played this season (Joe Walsh, Paul Nardi and Ben Hamer) not good enough
I'd also move on Adamson, Celar, Obikwu, Saito, Varane probably others too
Loan out development players including Bennie to League One teams
Bring back Field
I'd sort out a quality right and left back and central midfield pronto
I'd also give Putman a chance as he looks like a quality player
Also Kolli deserves a real chance too as he is class

I'd get a manager in who genuinely believes that he can manage the project and get young players in the team. No point in retaining a manager who says we need experienced players if your business plan is all about developing up. |

1. New contract for JS, lets save any summer of speculation, back him. Get that off the table. He is head coach next year. Pre season starts now.
2. A released and retained list. We've known we'll be in this division for months. They know who stays, who goes and who is offered a new deal. Tell us, tell us in 1 announcement. We are adults, we are the ones who matter at this club, 1 release with all the info. None of these daily updates.
3. Acknowledge the problem with fitness. If it has to be some statement saying Ben Williams is choosing to focus on his other businesses and is stepping aside, thats fine. Spares his blushes, we move on. But this gets dealt with

Been a fairly miserable end to the season but I’m still feeling half full about next season
With a fully fit squad (lol) and the right recruitment over the summer (two CMs (one old and canny, one young up and comer), two good full backs who can defend and attack, a great goalie, and get rid of Field, Hayden, Saito, Varane, that would be squad that could do well under Stéphan and hit the financial targets.
Our recruitment has been pretty good the last two years so I’m going to trust them to address the above.

Something big has to change. Either Nourry or Ben Williams have to go. We can’t continue with the poor preparation of our players. The fact we went in to the final game of the season with not one striker in the squad sums up our season. The players we are signing are just not up to a 46 game season. We have a lot of young players in the team already. We have others possibly coming through. To be successful as a Club aiming for the PL in the next season or three, and to develop these young players further we most obviously need some players with experience and leadership qualities to support their progress. So we need to keep the few good experienced players we have or replace them if they go, plus bring in an experienced defender to replace Cook, JCS because of his injury problems and also because we need 2 or 3 bigger tougher CB's to play alongside Edwards (or Morrison or Smith), RND if he goes, Field if he doesn't want to stay with us, plus a better Keeper than we have with experience, and if we can a seasoned box to box midfielder.
I'd be replacing whoever is responsible for all our hamstring and other muscle injuries too, and have a really hard look at the condtion of the training pitches and Loftus Road pitch as both could be part of the cause of all these injuries. | | | |
