Nobody claimed it was important but it's there to be played and it's about pride and a world cup medal. It's not the one we wanted but when someone like Harry Kane, looks back on his career he would probably rather have this than nothing.

I would imagine that pretty much all the French and English players just want to be at home/on holiday. If I'd played 60-odd games in the 25-26 season, had just had the devastation of losing a WC semi-final we were expected to win (France) or had thrown away against our biggest rivals (England) then I probably wouldn't want to see a football for about 10 years. Do the supporters give a sh it if you win this match? I very much doubt I will even watch it unless I'm really stuck for something to do. |  |

Well that was f*cking mental. How poor France were first half and you'd have thought 4 was plenty at half time. I still think Tuchel reacted far too late to bring Bellingham on but I have to say Bellingham's goal at the end was a thing of real beauty.
