To be honest, in ferguson days I did totally.admire how well this club was run from the very top and their constant and continued success over two decades was something to be admired and revered.
Today they are a basket case of a club. Great start to their season, home defeat to the mighty seagulls.
But they just want dig that hole even more.
See they have bid for Marko Arnautovic but currently the bid has been rejected 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣.
City fans get Haaland.
It's been an abysmal decline. Please let this continue.
On darker days this strange phenomenon that is United gets sadder and sadder still.
My many many acquaintances around us in the heart of London and the home counties known as Cockney Reds, my heart bleeds.
Love it. Come on United. You have it in you to accelerate this comical decline.
Can we have you in a relegation battle. Perhaps you need bring back the Charlton brothers !!!!
They still manage to be given outrageous decisions by officials at Old Trafford though! How Brighton didn't have a penalty awarded at 2-0 is beyond me.
Brighton are giving me problems! They are a club that I've never liked, but last season & today I've really enjoyed watching the football that they play.

Just a shame we haven't been around to play them during their decline to add to our solitary win there. Should we ever return it will coincide with United becoming strong again.

Good point re. the penalty, it was a ridiculous decision, a clear barge with no attempt to play the ball.
"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

Happy days. Long may it continue. How anyone thinks they can challenge with Fred, mactomninay and McGuire in your team is beyond me. The self styled greatest football team in the world followed by tourists sliding into the abyss. Deluded!!!

Don't know much about them, I thought that Norwegian bloke Olef Gunter Solskjær was their Manager but apparently not, I looked It up and discovered It's someone called Eric Ten Hogs. I'm bloody useless remembering names.

We may not have thrown the game at City but I like to think we did.
Used to have a boss who was a ‘Cockney’ Red from Plaistow originally.
Typical glory-hunting VVanker, but because I supported an ‘odd’ team like QPR he did kind of respect me as a football fan (if not an employee but that’s another story.)
Completely convinced him that is was well known in QPR circles that once we knew we were safe we threw the game. There are plenty of Utd. fans that believe this including the usually reasonable Justin Moorhouse. Makes it more funny. Especially when you tell them it’s because every one who supports any other team hates them AND doesn’t see them as some sort of representative of English football.
Love Roy Keane asa a pundit but it’s absolutely brilliant to see how much this is genuinely hurting him.

Same. I got proper nasty abuse at the Withdean back in the day (not sat in the QPR end but respectful of that and minding my own business). Doudou was playing. We lost 2-1 i think.
Thing is there’s Man U fans everywhere. I coach a UPSL team and most of the South American players support them. Strikers are from Bolivia and Peru and follow that lot. Even the fed ex delivery guy supports them. Fun taking the piss though with my mail man who’s supports Birmingham.
There is also a Man Utd bar which I phone up regularly for score updates. When Spurs were beating them 6-1 I called and asked if I could make a reservation, they said of course and for how many. My recourse was naturally a table for 6 please.
We have truly been given a gift

Tierney couldn't have done any more for them today without pulling a shirt on.

That interview Dean Henderson gave a couple of weeks back was pretty damning of the club. They've got some real problems there. It's as if the shirt weighs far too heavy on the players shoulders. You've got Alex Ferguson still allegedly getting involved behind the scenes and watching down on any new manager who's bank balance couldn't turn down the poison chalice.
Players signed for huge fees with no real due diligence. 90M Pogba; useless and walked out for nothing in return. Sanchez from Arsenal, Maguire 80M and whatever wage they're paying Ronaldo that no other club in the world will go near.
A club that was so well run from top to bottom folded so quickly.and resorted to throwing money at the cracks that have now become chasms. By all accounts the stadium is falling apart and the fans hate their owners. Their was a camera shot of the owners earlier at 0-2 and they looked absolutely clueless.

Having grown up in the 90s, I get a lot of pleasure from this. As has been alluded to by other people above though, I'm sure most of the people I knew support someone else by now.
What Ten Hag needed was a John Eustace telling him to rip it all up, shift 15 players and start all over again.
