A lovely technical player, wand of a foot, can open teams up with a pass…… as long as it’s a lovely sunny day, a carpet of a pitch and, (most importantly), the opposition give him time, space and are in second gear.
Without the ball he’s a total liability and non existent
Reminds me very much of Jimmy Smith who was on loan from the scum, spends large parts of matches hiding and can’t tackle a fresh cheese sandwich

I'd slightly disagree there. For 60 minutes against Boro and the first 40 or so against Southampton we were in the game. We've slightly improved in the last ten minutes but for 30 minutes at the start of this we have been invisible. 2-0 flattered them. |  |
