Pretty much lost the game in the first 15 minutes then. Lost it in Midfield Vale and Morgan had to do better for the first. Varane completely at fault for the second. Mbengue very poor, Smyth having a stinker too. Out fought and out muscled.

I know there's been a pile on for Walsh but tell.me what he could have done better for either goal. It's more the DCMs not getting out as the ball goes loose on the edge of the penalty area. Vale fast asleep for the 1st and Varane going to ground leading to the 2nd. |  |
