Not read or heard anything about it but can't understand why its FORMER parent company would have any bearing.

Basically the American owners have sold the club to another company also owned by themselves but registered in Delaware, where the company laws make Swiss bankers look indiscreet.
It looks like a fairly crude attempt to screw the previous Blades owner prince Abdullah out of £35m they still owe him.

The £35m referred to is an overdue instalment.
If nothing else the lawyers should do very well out of all this.
And if the Blades do get a 12 point deduction it's going to really screw up some preseason predictions. There have even been a few rumblings that Chris Wilder is getting pissed off with it all and might walk. That could really give the Blades some problems. | | | |

I have been very underwhelmed by Greenwood so far, but I will admit that I am massively biased against him on account of his absolute dogshi t Cole Palmer barnet. Very early days, but I'm not sure what he is supposed to offer/be good at.
