He was hot property as a loanee target a couple of years ago wasn't he when he was at Sheff Utd.

Hypothetically, if we could bin off Saito and get him in for a similar amount that would be a punt worth making IMO. The good wingers tend be injured and the bad wingers tend to be bad. If the guy does go somewhere for £3.5m in today’s market that’s got a good chance of looking like a steal a year or two from now.
I don’t think this will happen nor that there’s any intention to sell Saito. I’m just not a fan. [Post edited 27 Aug 15:19]

Hypothetically, if we could bin off Saito and get him in for a similar amount that would be a punt worth making IMO. The good wingers tend be injured and the bad wingers tend to be bad. If they could get their money back on Saito or Dembele (i.e. sell at the price we paid for them), I’m sure the club would. Not convinced they’ll be able to do that though. I think they would have with Dembele this summer had he not done his ACL. Now everyone will wait to see how he is after recovering from that, and ideally see 6 months injury free. For him, it might be a good chance to start afresh when he returns. There is something there with him. As with so many, it’s end product we need to see improve. That debut for us he looked electric though. |  | | |

Does amuse me every year that so many pundits tip the relegated prem sides for promotion but the combination of the trauma of relegation and the sheer toughness of the Championship so often make a mockery of those predictions. v early days oc. | | | |
