Four goals probably too much to hope for again but I’m quietly optimistic we can get a long overdue win on Boxing Day. Come on you Rs!

Poll: Where will we finish up next season?

I know we’ve not won a Boxing Day away game since time began but I’ll take that.
I know Portsmouth are flirting above the drop zone but we have no right to win any game and treating teams as though we do (I’m not saying we did) is how games can come unstuck.

Plenty of teams dropped points today and I’ll take where we are going into the new year, with one more game of ‘25, compared to previous seasons when we were decidedly nervous.

Very true, almost every team struggled today. Southampton actually lost to Oxford. I guess too much eating and drinking this week.

1st half - non existent
2nd - better, but not great
A point - be grateful.

Happy with the point. Our next two holiday fixtures may be a bit sticky, if we came away with a win and a draw I'd be delighted.

A decent point at a tough ground on the day of the year we usually lose on....i would've taken a point before KO and i'll sure as hell take it today, as i will at West Brom. Win your home games and get what you can on the road, that's what will keep us in an around the playoffs.

Rather than ' ah sure they all struggled today' I would look on it as a missed opportunity to close the gap on Ipswich Middlesbrough Milwall etc . Or it would be if we were serious play off contenders

Par for the course with us. When we were winning away we were poor at home. Now we are playing good at home we have regressed away. We don't have a team that could win home and away from one week to the next.

The last three away games we have failed to turn up in the first half and have performed like 11 strangers just thrown together before kick off. Having said that I expected us to be naff away on this date and they duly delivered. Can we start on the front foot at Albion next or are we going to bow down and pay our respects?

I think he's vital for us though and really helps us stretch teams. Our fitness level looks better than it has for years for me. Madsen, Dunne, Burrell, Mbengue, Kone and Saito have all played a lot of minutes recently. We've won 5 and drawn 1 in the last 8 I think.

Before the match I was looking at the league table and noticed that the only thing that was separating QPR in 8th position from Ipswich in 3rd was 3 draws.

Draws play a part as you're picking up points. As the old adage goes, if you can't win the game, try not to lose it.

Well, he's not a defender.

Kone was defending a corner. His atrocious ball control knocked it nicely back to Devlin who put it away.

I think also, we are looking towards improving on last season... So that's a point as opposed to none.
I know, grasping at straws but 1 point from all our away games and 3 points from our home games is promotion form so we've done the necessary

Lets remedy things against West Brom and do our first double of the season

Yeah but Norrington Davies was easily blocked off as he should have been out to it, and Cook air kicked it when it was straight at him, so pretty poor all round tbh

I see what you're saying mate but if we beat Norwich we'd be in Ipswich position right?

After a bit of a breather, head says 'decent point', especially in the light of the first half performance. Trouble is, heart says 'bugger - could've had them'.

Thought Madsen was very good and Burrell"s work rate just blows my mind! Does he ever get tired?

'What do we want? We don't know! When do we want it? Now!'

After that stinky first half a draw is a fair result. We would have lost that 12 months ago.

Poll: How is Nourry cooking so far ? 🤣

Pisspoor performance but last season we 100% lose that game. I’ll take the point. Onwards and upwards! COYRs!!!

Scooters, Tunes, Trainers and QPR.

Why does that conclusion follow from those premises?

Why not feel fed up/angry/disappointed (again)?

Perhaps Nourry and Stephane can explain why the fans who attended shouldn't have half their money refunded as his team could only manage to play half a game (again)?

Our away showings are really becoming shameful.

“Shameful” and “refund the fans” eh?

Unlike you to go so ridiculously over the top with the negativity.

I’m still waiting for my Coventry refund.
Being angry about a point away from home against Pompey after that first half showing is not high on my agenda at the moment.
If you’ve got a solution to our current malaise of 5 wins, a draw and two defeats in our last eight .
I’d love to hear it.

1-0 down at half time and I'm thinking we aint that great today, then with 30 minutes left I'm thinking I reckon we can win this.
If anyone thinks we can beat anyone In this league then they need to have a serious think, we got a point after a pretty poor first half but basically pulled our socks up In the second half.
We're gonna have dodgy performances now and then, we're not top of the league for a reason.
We're doing just fine.

My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.

Good old Jimmy, got us out of a hole.

Thought the front four were poor. Lethargic from start to finish.

Madsen once again excellent.

Madsen was totally MIA in the 1st Half, didn't show for the ball and made it look like we were playing with 10 men,

Obviously got a rocket at Half Time, as was a changed man from the start of the 2nd Half, showing & looking for the ball, suddenly we were playing with 11 and looked a different team, unfortunately one good quarter doesn't cut it as dropped off again late on, though did make a very decent covering challenge,

If this Squad it to fulfil its potential we need 90 minutes like that third quarter most weeks, the odd cameo won't see us troubling the Play Offs.

No offence but I don't deal in ifs and buts, I deal in facts. The fact is that as of today we've won as many if not more games this season than every team in the division bar 3 yet we're 9th. It's the number of defeats that's the difference. Check the table for yourself - it doesn't lie. That's why I'm not downhearted about a draw away following a poor performance. Obviously I would prefer to win the game but if you can't win it, don't lose it.

well it is a point, we were awful 1st half and had to come back from behind with a better 2nd half, for me pompey played much better than a bottom 3 team. our win record there is low, so a point is ok, no damage done and in a great league position. it's the hope that gets me lol
