Looks like he's got that much needed height everyone is after. He doesn't look exceptionally gifted on his highlight reel but he's got a good shot on him from outside the box. I'm guessing there's weight to this rumour as it was first reported last month. Lets hope he's better than the last Diakite we had.

People speculating that he was watching the game yesterday next to Caroline Shea the players liaison officer. I did see a tall black man with her during the game on the sidelines.

I think the transfer windows there are a couple of "internet journalists" the72, footballleagueworld, that just basically quote the players they think we should be in for.
I generally only take note myself if WLS's ⁶Dave Macintyre quotes interest as i believe he is fed a name by the club if it is nearly done or very much wanted by the club. The other rumour sites simply quot⁶e what we want or believe might be best for us, with zero substance in terms of any bonafide interest or contact from the club.
I do remember when Sam Field first signed for us on loan and it was done in the last minutes of the window and no one had even mentioned his name and that one turned out alright for ourselves.
And sometimes ones with the most rumours never arise. I remember we were trying to get Danny MacNamara, a right back from Millwall and it was reported as almost certainly done throughout the window and it never turmed out to be.
Sad b'stard I am remembering such things but anything told to me by my "better half" even when i am told earlier in the day, those statements seem to never remain in my brain. Strange one that !!!!
Totally note that the hit rate of this thread is about 5%. Thats why its called the rumors thread and not the transfers thread. At least it keeps all the crap.in one place.
I thought we had just smacked our Kier and we now have an alternative Mancunian upgrade in the number ten house.
Anyhow a number of clubs in England and multiple clubs in Italy and Germany all in for this man and we happen to be one of many. Thats called covering all bases kind of rumour or altermative definition - made up BS !!!
